I know that “thanks yous” don’t pay the bills, but I also know that occasionally it is nice to know that the work you do is appreciated beyond its dollar value. That is the case in this instance.
You had my car in there (taking up space) for over a week; you no doubt recall It-a Dodge Cirrus, with some serious shifting concerns. I know that the charges I was asked to pay when it was given back to me came nowhere near covering the hours of labor, research and thought that actually went into making the repairs. For that I am extremely thankful. But, it is not just the fact that you made an unaffordable repair affordable that I appreciate: it was the communication you provided, keeping me aware of the situations you encountered, as well as the determination you exhibited to see that the job was done right- to the best of your knowledge and ability. That is an attribute to be admired.
So, this last weekend, my wife and I were able to take that car (for the first time since we purchased it, seven months ago) out on the highways and over to San Jose this past weekend to get away for her “Leap Year” birthday. You have no idea how much joy you added to that weekend, by providing us with a reliable vehicle that was trouble free. On the way home, driving through the hills. It came to me that I really wanted to be able to let you know something of the appreciation we both have for a Job, truly, well done.
