Clutch & Transmission Technicians was started in 1992 with the goal to provide Modesto and the surrounding area with a high standard of customer service and quality work. We wanted to provide a service in which every customer would be more than happy to refer a family member or friend after having their vehicle repaired at our facility.


We were pleased to service many new customers throughout the years and see our business grow with customer referrals, fleet accounts and local shop referrals. We rapidly outgrew our original location and moved up the road to 3424 Oakdale Road to a larger state of the art shop.This move allowed us to continue to grow & meet the needs of our customers and todays vehicles.

We specialize in automatic and standard transmissions, clutches and transfer cases. Our shop is set up to diagnose and repair electronic transmissions. We also work with most extended warranty and insurance companies and welcome fleet accounts. We are constantly attending seminars and updating our diagnostic equipment and computer software to keep our technicians up to date with the constantly changing transmissions of today.
